Keeping Families Connected fosters relationships within families where a family member is suffering from mental illness, and a drug and alcohol problem. Education nnKeeping Families Connected (KFC) is a 5-week programme which:nnSupports and educates families to understand the family member from a new perspective. nOffers education and training in the areas of mental health and drug and alcohol use, which include managing the mental health system. Works with families to find a balance between self care and responsibility.nOffers a safe space with other carers in a similar situation.
