Negotiable fes - Services all Brisbane South region Extended cottage style centre-based respite -7am- 8pm (7 days). 2 beds are available for emergency overnight accommodation. The service is available to people who care for someone and are in paid employment, planning to return to work or who are undertaking work related study. The care recipient may be a frail older person or someone with dementia. No ACAT assessment is required. Centre is a "normal" suburban house, providing a homelike non-institutional but secure environment. Activities are based on needs/wants of clients. Fees negotiated with carers usually minimal. Transport can be provided if needed in some cases.
