About Lions Club Welfare Officer

The Lions Club have various clubs throughout the state including country regions. The groups operate separately and are involved in various charitable activities. The Lions Club Welfare Officer is affiliated with the Duncraig Lions Club and provides a referral service to the appropriate club in the person's local area. This Centre has provided funds for the local retirement village function, equipment for children with disabilities and many other charitable endeavours. The Lions raise funds through selling aluminium cans and newspapers plus several fund raising events throughout the year. This service is maintained through the generosity of the volunteer members and donations. While every effort is made to assist a person in need, the club are restricted by limited funds and available resources and will not guarantee assistance.
