About Literacy Network (Manly Warringah Inc)

A community association for the sharing of literacy, language and numeracy skills. Trained volunteer tutors help adults who have problems with reading & writing on a 1-to-1 basis. Regular meetings of all members for both educational and social purposes. Professional, Adult Education Programs provided for organisations by arrangement. Flexibility of lesson times is a great advantage for students & they can meet with their tutor in their own home, the tutor's home or the Literacy Network office, whichever situation is most convenient. Variety of student and tutor groupings also encouraged. Members available to speak to community groups on adult literacy issues. Runs "Stretch Your Mind" activities & seminars.
