About Live it up! Leisure Support Service
Assists individuals & small groups of people aged over 16 years with mild developmental disabilities to organise their own leisure activities in their local community. The 2 programs are;1."Out and About" - regular group activities are advertised in the "Live it Up" leisure booklet. Activities include barbecues, coastal walks & picnics, day trips & adventure camps, horse riding & the movies and 2."Funky Squads" - Assistance is provided to plan & organise activities. The support worker does not always come on the outings. Suited to people who are fairly independent but find it difficult to organise activities or to meet new people.
