About Long Day Care Respite Service

The Long Day Care Respite Service offers one day extended respite for working carers of the frail aged, including older people with dementia. Working carers can be defined as: carers who are employed in paid work; do voluntary work; or who are preparing to do work eg. undertaking a TAFE course. nA diverse activity program is conducted at the Day Centre that is designed to meet individual needs.nWe provide: breakfast; morning tea; lunch; afternoon tea; light evening snack; craft supplies; activities; and game prizes.
