Recreational options for people with disabilities is organised by MADSAR . It supports people with disabilities to participate in their choice of local community activities, whilst being supported by another community resident with similar interests. This is a one-on-one recreational activirty of choice Choices made may range from swimming groups,nyouth clubs, sporting outlets, craft activities, to more passivenrecreational choices such as meditation groups, library visits , to a coffee and chat with a friend. Priority is given to people who:n* live with aged carersn* those who are isolated from their communityn* people with out any day optionsn* children with behavioural issuesnAll you need to do to become a member is:n* pay an annual support fee ($30)n* and have funnThis is an ATE programme and is funded by the Disability Services Commission of WA, although it is solely a recreational activity.
