Community Housing through the Community Rent Scheme Program. Medium term housing for people waiting for public housing in the area Morningside to Redland Bay; including the Wynnum District. Housing allocation is priority based and a waiting list applies. Except in circumstances of domestic violence consumers must not be an owner of property or caravan and other options for housing must be extremely limited. Three of the suburbs chosen for Dept of Housing accommodation must fall within boundaries of the scheme which are Carina, Morningside, Murarrie, Wynnum/Manly and all Redlands. Mangrove Housing Association provides temporary housing only.
