About Mater Respite Service

Mater Day Respite Service offers a range of centre-based social activities and services, including board games, card games, art, craft, ceramics, cooking, pool tables, reminiscence therapy, darts and the like. Target population is frail aged people, people with dementia and people with ABI, and staff may be able to accommodate people with high support needs. Centre has own vehicle and can transport within 10 kilometre radius of centre. Limit of 25 people per day.Extended hours & Overnight respite beds are available from Monday-Thursday nights - no ACAT necessary but an internal assessment required.
