The Meals on Wheels Service is a nutritionally balanced meal program for older frail or younger people who have an ongoing disability, or their carers. The aim of the service is to help many of our community members continue living in their own homes, within familiar surroundings and neighbourhood networks, for as long as they are able to do so.nThe meals served are prepared fresh daily and consist of: nSoup nMain Course nFruit Juice nDessert nMeals are delivered by a very capable team of volunteers between 8.00am and 11.00am Monday to Friday with extra meals provided for weekends. On Wednesdays and Sundays the meal normally consists of a roast dinner and on Friday a fish meal is served.
