About Mobile Womens Health Service

MWHS holds clinics in centres across the Fraser Coast & Bundaberg districts, Office based in Maryborough. The MWHS can assist and support all women through the provision of culturally appropriate information, support, clinical services and the promotion of health lifestyles. The MWHS works with both individuals and groups to provide a number of services. These may include but are not limited to: Pap Smear, Breast Care, Osteoporosis, Sexual health screening, Health promotion and education on a range of topics inc Puberty, Family planning, Menopause & Hormone replacement, Nutrition, Weight and stress management. The service is free and confidential, and is available to all women withing the areas covered by each MWHS. The MWHS visits over 200 rural & remote communities in Qld to provide clinics and other services on a regular basis.
