Silver Chain day centres are provided to promote healthy ageing within our community. They deliver support to prevent social isolation and enable you to interact with others in a comfortable setting. Each day centre has a wide variety of services and activities available ranging from craft and woodwork to slide shows and presentations from guest speakers. Day centre activities also include day trips. This Centre-based Adult Day Care is part of the Silver Chain HACC service in Toodyay.There is an outing on the first Tuesday of the month. The gatherings are held twice a week at the Toodyay Football Club where morning tea and lunch are served for a cost of $7.There are many recreational activities such as cards and scrabble or clients may choose just to socialise.
