A 62 low care facility with ageing in place. Residents need to be assessed as needing low care on admission but may continue to live at Morven once high level of care is needed. Accreditation to 2009 has been achieved. The building design ensures a homelike environment with 5 'houses' providing accommodation for 12 residents. One house provides secure dementia specific care for its residents. Each house opens onto the garden area and has a central kitchen, lounge area, laundry and sunny patio. The individual residents rooms have their own en suite bathroom plus balcony. A hairdressing salon, doctors clinic, chapel, library, community centre and craft rooms ensure that all services are available on site whilst the facility bus enables residents to enjoy outings and shopping trips regularly. Registered nurses, carers and activity officers provide all care and activities.
