About Multicultural Community Care Service
Multicultural Community Care Services (MCCS) is currently funded for 4 programs. The Community Aged Care Packages (CACP) program is funded by the Dept of Health & Ageing to provide a low-level hostel-equivalent, home based care service to the frail aged who live alone, or with their families, and have complex care needs. The Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH) program is also funded by the Dept of Health & Ageing to provide a high-level care to people who need more help than a CACP can provide. The Respite Care Program is a HACC funded program that assists and supports CALD carers by providing in-home respite care to elderly and people with physical and intellectual disabilities. Social Support Program is a HACC funded program assisting CALD communities maintain contact with the community meeting the need for social contact.
