About Multicultural Respite Network

HACC project that provides a range of culturally appropriate respite services targeted at socially isolated, culturally and linguistically diversified (CALD) frail aged, adults with disabilities and their carers. The project can provide short term, planned and individual carer support that includes counselling, advice, advocacy, information, referral, support and linkages to other services that support the caring relationship, centre based/group respite, individual respite and transport to and from respite activities. Priority will be given to cultural groups with no or limited access to culturally specific respite. The project will work in partnership with multicultural services and social groups that have identified the need for new or expanded respite services.
