About Neami - South East Sydney

Neami is a community managed organisation that provides psychosocial rehabilitation, education, support and advocacy for people living with a psychiatric disability. It supports people with mental illness to get back into community life by offering a range of fully furnished houses and providing support to tenants. There are eight houses in the St George/Sutherland area providing supported accommodation for one or two persons. Neami works through St George Housing to provide community support to replace institutionalisation.Tenants need to have a desire to rehabilitate and enter the community.
