About Nepean Legacy Division

Legacy's aim is to attempt to fill the gap left by the member's deceased relative. Assistance offered:provision of allowances, fees and mentoring for school-aged (up to tertiary level) dependents, financial support (dependent on individual circumstances), emotional support, visits to members residing in their home, in a nursing home or hostels etc. Access for members whose only income is the aged pension to subsidised podiatry services and conditional dental care. Assistance is particularly geared towards supporting elderly and infirm members. There is a Welfare Worker available to assist and support members. To access Legacy assistance eligible people need to be enrolled in Legacy. The enrolment process usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
