About Noah's Ark - Inclusion Support Agency Wimmera

The aim of this program is to promote and maintain high quality care and inclusion for all children in eligible child care services. Agencies operate on a regional basis and coordinate the assistance provided by a network of outreach workers. It assists all children in care, to access and participate in an environment, where they can learn and interact with children of a similar age. Included are children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including refugee children and Australian South Sea Islander children. Children with ongoing high support needs and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. Support may include providing or sourcing information and support, supporting services to develop, implement and sustain flexible, inclusive practices, assisting to link with relevant community groups, services and organisations and to work in partnership with families and support networks.
