About Northern Sydney Carer Support Service

Providing information, education, guidance and support to carers. Carer support officers work in each of the public hospitals in the region. Carer courses are conducted throughout the region, throughout the year, providing practical skills on caring, accessing services, safe lifting techniques, coping with stress, etc. Mens cooking courses teach men who have to take over meal preparation. Courses are free for carers.
