They are responsible for the strategic planning and effective delivery of mental health and drug and alcohol services across all age groups in Northern Sydney and the Central Coast. Mental Health Drug and Alcohol is responsible for service planning, development and provision, partnerships with consumers, carers and other health providers and the quality framework for managing incidents and complaints. Mental health services in Northern Sydney and the Central Coast areas are organised into three age-specific specialist service areas, namely: n* CHILD AND ADOLESCENT SERVICES (for those aged 0 to 18 yrs); * ADULT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES (for those aged 18-64 yrs); * AGED CARE SERVICES (for those aged 65 yrs and over).
