About Nowra Adult Day Centre

Groups meet Monday and Thursday for people with high needs and dementia. Shoalhaven Community Transport provides transport for clients from their homes to the centre and returns them back to their homes at the end of the session.nAssessment done by home visit.nDementia Advisor/Educator and carer support worker.nSocial Support Groups Monday and Wednesday for aged people with lower needs and those who are socially isolated.nActivities in program include outing once a month, guest speakers, quizzes, craft, gentle exercise, music and singing, discussion groups, entertainers. n- Culburra outreach Day Care on Tuesdays (Good Friends Group).n- Berry/Shoalhaven Heads outreach Day Care on Fridays (Old Friends Group). n- Carers Support Group on 4th Wed of the month 10.30 am - 12.30 pm (for carers of people with dementia) at Nowra n3rd Wed of the Month at Culburra Health Centre 10 am - 12 noon. nWhether they can take people with incontinence is determined at assessment.
