About Nurses on Wheels Inc.
Provides mobile nursing care in the home by registered nurses. The service assists those who are frail aged and/or disabled. Can provide assistance with showering if there is a medical condition necessitating the need for a nurse to provide this service. This is a Home and Community Care (HACC) partially funded service. Group outings Mon to Thurs and a men only group on Wednesdays. Group Outings now :$10 per day - pick up and take home (occaisionally a sausage sizzle or similar is included for free) -can bring a lunch. Groups now runs 5 days a week, mixed groups but men's group on Wednesday. Need to contact the group organizer for outings.
