Older Carers Program

About Older Carers Program

Older Carers Program provides individualised support for older carers who care for adult children with a permanent disability who may be concerned about who will look after their child when they are no longer able to. The aim of the program is to assist carers access formal and informal support and provide them with intensive care planning, information, social support, respite and crisis managmen. This service comes under Commonwealth Respite & Carelink Program under the auspices of Australian Red Cross.
