The multidisciplinary team at Osborne Park Older Adult Mental Health provides a specialist mental health service for older adults experiencing mental health problems and their carers. Team members are aware of client needs and have extensive experience working with older adults who have emotional memory or behavioural problems. The team consists of: Carer Support Staff, Clinical Psychologist, Community Liaison Officer, Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Adult Psychiatry, Medical Officer, Occupational Therapists and assistants, Psychiatric Registrar, Physiotherapist and assistant, Registered and enrolled Mental health Nurses, & Social Workers. The North Metropolitan Adult Mental HealthCarer Liaison and Education Program offers assistance to carer's of older adults with dementia and/or a mental health illness. In recognition of the issues for carer's, this agency provides support to help people cope in their caring role.
