Personal care for low support needs covering Newcastle and Lake Macquarie is a program subsidised by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, to assist with daily self care tasks. This program supports people who are frail aged, ageing and/or have a disability who wish to remain in their own home.nThe program aims to assist with self care tasks in the home, which includes showering, dressing and undressing, electric razor shaving, hair care, grooming, assistance with toileting, monitoring self medication & assistance with mobility.
