About Population Health- Esperance

Population Health Division is part of the WACHS and is based at the Esperance Hospital . It is responsible for the strategic policy and service direction which guides regional Community Health services. These services provide a continuum of care with a focus on prevention and early intervention with the aim of maximising health outcomes for children, families and communities.nThis division helps all Australians to stay healthy and live longer by helping them avoid illness and injury. It aims to protect, promote and restore people's health. It represents the combination of sciences, skills and beliefs that are directed to the maintenance and improvement of the health of whole populations through collective actions. Exercise programs such as SOYF- stay on your feet- is a physio run program and is designed to prevent falls and injuries among senior citizens.
