Information on Polio, what to expect, talk to people who have had Polio, explain what can happen to body as result of the disease. Support groups are local and regional groups offering support and shared experiences in dealing with issues of the late effects of polio. They are also involved in advocacy in providing information on the late effects of polio to relevant groups (e.g. medical practitioners, health care professionals, Queensland Health and Government). These groups are convened by members of the Association who are experiencing the late effects of polio
