Many of these are thought to be due partly to a hypothalamic dysfunction involving the growth hormone and sex hormone systems, which in turn affect growth, body composition, bone mineral density, hypotonia, sleep, hunger, emotional and sexual development, all of which are affected by PWS. This services offers emotional & practical support for people with PWS and their faimilies and carers.
