Offers a respite activity group for people with dementia. A light lunch is provided. Activities:picnics, bus trips, centre based activities. Runs support groups for carers with one daytime meeting monthly. Videos, books available. Provides: caring, multilingual, professional staff, bus transport with wheelchair access to and from centre, assessment of a person's ability to cope, referral to other day groups, support for carers/ other family members, information about other respite services, referral to nurses specialising in dementia care, liaison with carer support groups such as Alzheimer's Assoc. Will accept people who have severe dementia. Closed public holidays. 7 days 8.45am to 4.45pm
