About Private Rental Brokerage Service

Service provided by the Department of Housing to clients facing barriers in accessing and securing housing in the private rental market. The service assists clients who have capacity to rent in the private market but require extra support. Clients must: be in receipt of a regular income; be within the Dept of Housing eligibility guidelines; have a complex need; have a community support service provider in place who are willing to provide support on a case management basis; able to afford and sustain a private rental tenancy; are homeless or at risk of homlessness.
