About Program of Appliance for Disabled People (PADP) - St George
PADP is a NSW Health Program that provides aids and equipment long term to people with a permanent disability. An appropriate therapist or clinician must make an assessment and recommendation. A $100 co-payment is required after first application is approved. Applicants do not have to be on a benefit to apply to PADP. Oxygen supplies can be applied for through PADP but are supplied through the 'Home Oxygen Program'and eligibility is means tested. Continence supplies are available through PADP to persons over 3 years of age but an assessment and referral by a continence advisor is required. CRAGS PADP is the provider of equipment for children under the age of 16 years over the entire South East Region.
