About Queensland Rail Travel Companion Scheme

When applying for Companion Card, you need a doctors certificate stating that the care recipient needs a carer companion when travelling on public transport. Name of carer not needed. Provides free rail travel for the companion if the care recipient has a travel companion card issued by Queensland Rail. Care recipient is charged 50% for his or her own fare.
