Visiting scheme aimed at establishing links between people living in aged care homes and their local community.nAims at reducing loneliness and social isolation.nRed Cross Shoalhaven currently provides visitors to:nBerry and Bay and Basin Masonic Village, Clelland Lodge and Rose Mumbler (North Nowra), Chesalon Nursing Home (Nowra), St Georges Basin Retirement Village, Culburra Retirement Village, Blue Haven Kiama and Jervis Bay Aged Care Facility. nVolunteers welcome but must be committed - willing to establish ongoing friendship.
