About Respite Care Project (IECC)

The Respite Care Project is funded by the Dept of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC) under the HACC program to assist and support the existing ethno-specific Day Cares in the Illawarra. In addition the project aims to identify the needs of the target group from linguistically and culturally diverse backgrounds and develop strategies to meet those needs. It is a resource for those day care groups directly run by IECC, and other NESB day care groups. Acts as a resource on CALD issues with groups such as Volunteering Illawarra and Wollongong City Council.
