About Respite for Employed Carers Service (REC) - Hammond Care

The Respite for Employed Carers Service aims to provide a quality respite service to employed carers of the frail aged including those with dementia. The carers are either in employment or have plans to return to work or study and the respite service is to help ease the demands of combining caring and employment responsibilities. This service provides flexible in-home respite available 7 days per week, from 6.00am to 12.00 midnight. It also caters for the shift worker and the changing demands of employment such as training and conferences.
