About Respite In Action - Cumberland Prospect

The Respite in Action Program provides Flexible Respite Options for individuals and their Families. They encourage and assist clients and their families to meet personal goals and needs. Respite is Flexible Respite - this means any form of Respite that is not centre based. It can be provided in peoples homes, in the community, in groups or as individuals. It can be at any time of the day for any length of time (eg for 2 hrs per day or a full week). Each family will receive their own budget to manage with which they can determine the volume of respite they receive. Applications are made through RIAP
