For preschool aged children who have a significant vision or hearing impairment. Children from the local community also attend. Language development is a priority of the program and activities like reading, story telling and drama are emphasised. The playground is specially landscaped and designed to provide appropriate stimulus for children with sensory impairments. In this environment children learn a variety of skills including: Language and communication; Problem-solving; Task-related behaviour; Movement; Self Help. Activities are designed to foster children's social and emotional development and to enhance their initiative, self-esteem and independence. Also a vision assessment & advisory service for children 0-18 by appointment
