A six bed unit within the North West Private Hospital providing specialised psychiatric/psychological assessment and intervention for privately insured patients. At Rivendell Clinic, patients can relax and recover in a private and peaceful environment, where anonymity is protected. Experienced staff offer a host of therapeutic interventions such as: one to one counselling; group sessions focused on: skills building; stress management; anxiety reduction; relaxation; improving self esteem; depression reduction. Patients eligible for accessing the service: mood disorders including bipolar affective disorder (mania without significant behaviour disturbance); depression; anxiety disorders including: obsessive compulsive disorders; panic disorders, phobias, post traumatic stress disorders; postnatal disorders; psychotic disorders (without significant behavioural disturbance); generally not functioning. Assessment/admission will be arranged between nursing staff and the patient.
