About Rockdale Neighbour Aid

Neighbour Aid service aims to support people to remain living in their homes by providing * shopping and account paying for people unable to leave their home * transport to and from medical and similar appointments * social outings to local clubs and other places of interest * odd jobs such as changing light bulbs, washers on taps etc * monthly concerts * friendly phone calls * home visiting * dementia monitoring including visiting, transport, outings, shopping, ensuring appropriate meals are available and reminding a client to take medication * Neighbour Aid also provides the Home Help Consortium which offers limited household help including one off carpet cleaning, spring cleaning, window cleaning and some assistance with gardening and lawn mowing (these jobs are carried out by subcontractors nominated by Neighbour Aid)
