Activ's People, Skills and Community (formerly ATE) Service offers a choice of community and centre based activities in an environment that enables participants to form friendships and learn new skills. It provides support to people with disability who are not able to maintain full time employment. nThe day care centre's aim is to encourage involvement in everyday community life whilst promoting skill development, enjoyment and satisfaction. The Centre offers a variety of activities including horse riding, cooking, gardening, picnics, movies, swimming and walks.Transport is available upon request. This is a HACC-funded service.There is also respite(overnight) available at the centre which has x4 beds and is available one weekend each month.
