Royal District Nursing Service, a not-for-profit organisation, provides 24 hour / 365 days a year nursing care to the community in their homes, schools and workplaces.nGeneral services include nursing care for aged/ highly dependent; post acute after hospital discharge; terminally ill at home care; complex technical care, assessment/case management; discharge planning/liaison nursing; social work and physiotherapy support; medication management; ehnic liaison service; homeless persons program.nSpecialist programs include: palliative care; diabetes, continence, haemophilia and wound management: specialise aged care; HIV/AIDS; intravenous antibiotic therapy; hospital in the home; and stomal therapy.
