About Royal North Shore Hospital - Aged Care & Rehabilitation Medicine - Home Podiatry Service

A community podiatry service with priority for elderly people and younger people with a disability who are homebound. Aged and disabled people who can use public transport are not eligible for this service. When a service user calls, their details (if they are eligible) go through a referral system and will then be passed on to a podiatrist who will visit the service user at home. A person's financial situation is not taken into account when accessing this service and a fee is not charged for the service. The highest priority is given to people with foot pathology or associated medical problems such as diabetes. DVA clients are referred to private sector providers.
