About RSDG Friends for Families

Friends for Families is a volunteer home visiting service whose trained volunteers offer practical support and friendship to families with at least one child under the age of five. Volunteers offer their time and share the wisdom of their parenting experiences with young families experiencing difficulties or stresses eg new mothers, multiple births, mothers who are exhausted, overwhelmed, isolated, lonely, new to the area or a parent who has a child with a chronic illness/disability, or chronic illness/ disability themselves.
