Community development project aimed at implementing and developing strategies that will allow people in the Wollongong area to be safer and feel safer in public places. Looks to secure grants and government funding for crime prevention projects.nWorks with older people to find out what they need to make them feel safe.nProduces crime prevention material.nDeveloping local government guidelines for building and planning policies which will reduce crime.nConsists of representatives from a wide range of community and industry organisations.nWollongong/Shellharbour area.
