About Safe Place

Provides 24hr place of safety for youth aged to 17yrs intoxicated from volatile substances. Support services and information on existing services that can be of help. Works in conjunction with the Child Protection and Investigation Unit(Qld Police) as a facility for police to take VSM(volatile substance misuse) affected adolescents until the effects have worn off. Non-Indigenous youth welcome also.
