The Salvation Army offers Welfare Assistance to clients who are are experienceing extreme financial difficulties and is provided through centres at Gosford, Long Jetty, Gorokan and Umina (listed separately) Assistance may include food vouchers/parcels, accommodation vouchers clothing and assistance with bills and other expenses through an assessment process. Assistance is by appointment only phone 4397 2188 for an appointment. Seniors Group meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 10.30 am for a concert and lunch. Limited pick ups are available by the Salvation Army bus. The Seniors Group also organises a monthly outing 4th Monday of each month. There is also 'Mini Musos' group for mums and baby's on a Wednesday morning and also a primary children group with craft, stories and music on a Tuesday afternoon.
