Emergency relief by providing food vouchers. Client needs to bring with them on their first visit their current Health Care Card, referral from Centrelink and their past fortnights household receipts. If the client is needing assistance with their electricity account between $100 and $300, they must have a current bill with proof they have contributed some payment towards the bill, the receipt must be stapled to electricity account - for amounts over $300 they must apply to the Ombudsman on 1800 246 545. Telstra help is for landline phones only and the client must have paid $20. Appointment necessary for assessment of emergency relief.
