About Seniors Advocacy Information and Legal Service [SAILS]

SAILS is a free legal and social work service for people over 60 and living in the greater Brisbane area. It can work with an older person or a service provider to provide legal information, advice, advocacy to people over 60 experiencing abuse. It can undertake court representation and support in certain circumstances, can provide crisis and short-term counselling including development of safety plans the service can refer to other legal/ support services and can provide community legal education.
