The Sir Moses Montefiore facility offers 3 levels of care; 150 high care nursing home beds, 45 secure dementia beds; 138 hostel beds which includes 25 dementia specific beds and respite beds. This is an extra services facility; diversional therapy, hydrotherapy and physiotherapy are available. Tenure for low and high care is by resident agreement as per the Aged Care Act. The facility at present has Russian, Polish, German, Hungarian, Yiddish, Czech and Israeli speakers among its residents.
