About SmartCare

Smartcare promotes transitional and associated personal care services to the frail aged and wheelchair bound who live at home with a carer or in a hostel, assisted living establishment or nursing home. SmartCare includes transport to and from hospitals, specialist appointments, social functions and funerals, along with any and all personal care that is required during the journey and at the appointment or event. All operators hold a minimum qualification of nursing Certificate III. The minimum service available is one and a half call out hours. Fees: $68/hr per for 1 client, $88/hr for 2 clients ($44/person), $108/hr for 3 clients ($36/person), $128/hr for 4 clients ($32/person), $148/hr for 5 clients ($29.60/person), $168/hr for 6 clients ($28/person)nMinimum charge 1.5hours, charged in 15 min blocks after that. Travelling Allowence charged at 75% of standard fee if travelling outside the St George or Sutherland region.
